2. Su Yanjing God: Implementation of the Salt Cavern Compressed Air Energy Storage Project

The Su Yanjing God salt cavern compressed air energy storage project is currently being implemented by Su Yan Group, the controlling shareholder of the company. The project is located in the Jiao'nan Mine area of Su Yanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is expected to have a total investment of 65.1 billion yuan, a design total capacity of 3.1 billion cubic meters, and a design scale accounting for 61% of the supporting gas storage facilities in Jiangsu Province. Once completed, Huai'an will become the largest and safest gas storage facility in the country.

3. Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Chinese Academy of Sciences

In December 2021, Su Yan Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and China National Energy Storage Company in Nanjing. They jointly plan to build the world's first 400MW salt cavern compressed air energy storage demonstration project, including a 100MW system and an international collaboration platform.

4. Technological Advancements and Bilateral Investments

The signing of new projects and the establishment of joint ventures indicate that China has reached a mature stage in the field of salt cavern compressed air energy storage technology. Prior to the establishment of the joint venture, Su Yanjing God had already made moves in the field of energy storage.
